A Snowstorm and the New Hobbit Movie.

Well I’m gonna keep this post brief.

It snowed all day Saturday. A bummer if ever there was one. I cleaned up the site a bit to keep everything sort of organized before the snow got too intense. So I was a bit depressed about not being able to work and the site getting a blanket of snow over it to boot (About 6 inches of snow). You can’t fight mother nature though. Oh well. We live to fight another day. I hope it warms up a bit so we can clear the snow off and finish nailing  the deck. We’re so close!

I know this blog is about building a Hobbit house and all but its inspiration was from the first Lord of the Rings movie, The Fellowship of the Ring. A great movie. At least the kind of movie I like to see. I’m not going to get into a review of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug but I was disappointed with the movie as a whole. I was also really surprized with the reviews I read as well. Most of them were really positive about the movie.  I was really looking forward to the movie and was really disappointed on a number of levels…..I tried to write a review but it’s not working. We’ll have to leave it at that.

Here’s hoping that it warms up a bit and we ccan get back to work soon.  Well…..It is the holiday season and there are quite a few other things to do as well.
